Adv. Itzhak Yunger is considered one of Israel’s most prominent and well-regarded experts in the field of complex commercial litigation, white-collar litigation, insolvency, and commercial law, and has been acknowledged as one of Israel’s leading jurists in these fields, as well as a leading international expert in these fields, having been cited by Legal 500 as one of Israel’s four leading attorneys in the field of insolvency law.
Adv. Yunger has also been included in the prestigious Chambers ranking and also serves as the chair of the Israel Bar Association’s Tel Aviv District Insolvency Law Committee.
He has recently represented clients in and has led the firm’s handling of central and complex cases, including the representation of IDB Holdings’ external directors in a lawsuit valued at hundreds of millions of NIS which was filed against them and against others by IDB officials. He is also representing the AIG insurance company in a lawsuit valued at around 15 million NIS it filed against Israel’s largest law firm, and also represents many clients and individuals in complex civil and criminal litigation proceedings on a day-to-day basis. In addition, Adv. Yunger has also acted in the capacity of trustee, liquidator and special director in complex cases, and has led the handling of proceedings which have attracted a considerable degree of media coverage, such rehabilitating and managing the recovery proceedings of the Ha’Poel Beersheba soccer team after the team’s owner, Alona Barkat, transferred management rights to him in 2020; representing B.S.R Europe, which owns real estate properties valued at hundreds of millions of Euros throughout Europe; representing the Bonita de Más chain of lingerie stores (which includes some 40 stores); representing the Ha’Poel Petach Tikvah soccer team; representing Röntgen Investments; representing Miba Plast; representing the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and many more.
